Muslim cleric compares women without head scarves to 'uncovered meat'

A leading Islamic cleric,Sheik Hilali, in his address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?

"The uncovered meat is the problem."

The sheik then said: "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred” and " women were "weapons" used by "Satan" to control men”.

"It is said in the state of zina (adultery), the responsibility falls 90 per cent of the time on the woman. Why? Because she possesses the weapon of enticement (igraa)."


So followers of Mohammed have the prophet-sanctioned right to rape any uncovered woman (means a non-Muslim woman) ??

Convoluted Compassion

Arundhati Roy, a glamorous Indian-born novelist who long ago crossed her limit of competence when she started dabbling into social issues, again proves that she has no respect for her motherland. She was not there in any protests when hundreds died in Mumbai Bomb blasts or when a University professor was killed by Muslim terrorists or when the Indian Parliament was attacked. But now she has suddenly reappeared to save Afzal, a terrorist convicted for his role in the conspiracy to attack the parliament, by protesting in front of the same Parliament attacked by that terrorist.

She once said that she is ashamed of being an Indian. Now a billion patriotic Indians are feeling the same about her being Indian.

Communalism at its worst!

It is sad that President Kalam gets the time to meet the family of terrorist Afzal, who was responsible for the Indian Parliament attack that killed many brave Indian soldiers and almost triggered a nuclear war between India and Mad dictator led Pakistan, but Dr. Kalam has no time to meet the relatives of the victims of that attack.

It highlights again how the Indian politics is pursuing a strain of secularism that is nothing but appeasement of increasingly violent Muslims. And what is more worrying is that if it is violence that makes the world take notice, Hindus are increasingly going to retaliate violently as is obvious in the reaction to Hindu pilgrims’ carnage by Muslim hordes in Godhra, Demolition of Babri mosque that was forced on the Hindu Sacred city during Muslim Rule.

It is ironic, though not surprising, that just like caste-based reservation of jobs is adversely affecting the inter-caste harmony in the society, the so-called secularism, flaunted by the political parties, communists and wooly-headed intellectuals, is going to result in increased religious bigotry and bloodshed in this country.

India has all religions and sects living more or less in peace for so many centuries, not because of its foreign-funded NGOs, because it is a Hindu majority nation with ethos and mores steeped in the Hindu culture. The moment one removes this calming effect of Hinduism on any region, the result is for all to see. You get Pakistan, a rabid terrorist nursery and Bangladesh, a new hotbed of Islamic jihad. But Hinduism itself cannot remain unaffected, if Islamic Terrorists and their sympathizers masquerading as Muslim moderates, communists or secularists attack it from all sides, as is happening now.
